My apologies, but I have been informed that my plans for this
simple, easy to install pump
have been deemed too similar to a
commercial pump that is manufactured by
New Zealand Pumps
(www.nzpumps.com)

This company has asked me
to remove my plans from
this website. They have apparently
patented not the pump, but rather the incredibly simple
"pumping principle"
by which the pump operates.

Amazing.

They feel my homegrown pump plans
are an infringement on their rights.

I do not agree with this assessment,
but nevertheless am complying with their wishes.

Therefore, you may feel free to
visit New Zealand Pumps'
website to check out their
pumps and prices,
but get get your checkbook ready
because you're going to pay a LOT more than
$50 for your pump.

(Or, you can just look carefully at their
pump and put your own together for
a fraction of the price.)

I suppose that's the American -- or rather, New Zealand -- way.
